I recently heard that mice are one of the most biologically appropriate foods you can feed your cat and I love giving them enriching treats so we gave these a try. We do play before I give them their treat so they can complete their whole hunting cycle and with no other treat have I seen them so satisfied and seen an actual change in their behavior and in their bond with me. These are the only freeze dried mice that I’ve purchased but I’ve purchased many freeze dried treats and these are extremely high-quality. I will be a customer for a very long time.
I’m not sure what the weather was like in all of the areas the larvae had to travel through, but they did arrive in great condition. The Heat Pack was solid on arrival. Better safe than sorry. I don’t have an experience to rate it otherwise.
My turtles are slow to wake and show much interest in lunch. How do I keep bugs over time if possible? Temps, food, water ?
I can’t bear to just watch them die slowly
Ordered medium and small BSF larva during the great freeze of 2026. I figured that my order would be postponed until the areas warmed. I was wrong. Order dispatched quickly with Heat packs. I am aware that I live in HI and that my temps are fine, but I was concerned about the areas that the package might have traveled through. It arrived late (not Symton's fault, USPS) but larvae were fine. Did I need the heat packs? I don't know, but it is cheap insurance to get my order to me.
I've never had an issue with Symton before but this time the bugs had a terrible rotten smell. The weather isn't extreme so not sure what happened. Tried contacting support via email two days ago with no reply. If I receive a reply and some help then I'll update my review to 5 stars.
