Large Black Soldier Fly Larvae

These are essential to organic trash disposal in my compost bins. It may be a bit early for them (because it's cold) but they know to burrow deep as they devour food scraps, vegetable waste, leftovers, cardboard, newspaper and junk mail. With the help of the earth worms I've introduced, everything turns into a black substrate that goes into the gardens.

Our bearded dragon loves them. Crickets in the morning and BSFL at night. Very happy with the product and that they have stayed alive 3 weeks and counting

Hello, my dragon ate a few of them but then he spit one out. Now he won't eat any. They have turned into flies. I want to ask about dubias. I can't l do the full grown dubias but those 1/2 inch in size or smaller is what I can handle! lol

I'm a long time customer and I've always been satisfied, but unfortunately my last two shipments, spaced a month apart, were disappointing. The first shipment in January, the bsf were smaller than usual, and even though I keep them at 50 degrees in a wine fridge, they did not last the expected 4 weeks.
That's ok, I get it, its January, it happens, it was cold, etc.
However my February shipment came packed in a different medium, kind of half dirt/half the usual sawdust like material. The worms are much harder to get clean (I have a symton strainer, always worked fine before) and the worms looked less "appetizing" if that's a thing you can say about maggots. They were blackish/greyish (not their final stage, I understand they turn black as they mature), and quite a few have died already, just a week in.
The most important thing: My beardie seems less than enthused than usual with them. Maybe it's him and he's just in low power mode.
Love your product to this point, sorry to have a somewhat negative review.
I will try you again in March.

The Breeder I got my baby Bearded Dragon from referred me to Symton as a supplier of BSFL for my growing boy. There was an issue with my 1st order being sent to the wrong FedEx Hub; however, when Symton was notified they corrected the issue immediately. Lindsey in Customer Service is great to work with. They will continue to get my business for as long as my Beardie has a taste for BSFL. Attached is a picture of my baby informing me his bug bowl was empty. He loves his BSFL, NOM NOM NOM!

I’ve bought BSFL from a few other sources, but they always ended up drying out and dying well before my pets finished them off. Symton’s lasted all the way until they were gone - a good two months - and lots pupated, which my pets loved. I’ll definitely keep ordering from them.

I would normally get my dragons bugs from the big box store. My other dragon was plagued with parasites which I was told was just par for the course. I have never had an issues with poo being runny or showing any signs of parasite! Not only that, their customer services is UNBELEVABLY good! They respond quickly and fix the issues without being (for lack of better wording) cold and distant. As many customer services people are because, well let's face it, customer service suck sometimes. The 'nummers" are always alive, plump, and livey making them much more appetizing to critter who is going to enjoy them. My dragon is active, healthy and goofy. I HIGHLY recommended them! Also, these things could help feed the world and eliminate a lot of CO2 from our food waste. I'm mean it's a win win.

Ordered BSFL for my son's bearded dragon and he loves them. They were packed securely and arrived alive and healthy. Glad I found your website. Will definitely order again soon.

I dont think my lizard or frogs liked them or I gave them dead ones I honestly don't know, because when I got them they were all black and not moving

I have had the worst luck getting my BSFL alive to my home. This is due to the post office not following instructions and the second time was just because it was too dang hot because of a heatwave. Let me tell you SYMTON HAS THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE out there! They have worked with me and my last subscription delivery was perfect. They were wiggling away when I opened the box. Myself and my BD were super excited. You cannot go wrong with the quality and the customer service. I recommend Symton in my Bearded Dragon groups for this reason. I have 8 chameleons, 2 skunks, and 2 hedgehogs that all LOVE your soldier fly larvae. I’ll also let some turn to flies that my chameleons go crazy for. Your soldier flies are plump, lively, and are the best cost I can find. I highly recommend you guys and appreciate the super fast shipping as well!
