INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

PLEASE NOTE:
Buying an enclosure is an important investment for the well-being of your pet, and we want you to be happy with your purchase. We will be limiting the number of enclosures we sell initially so that we can follow up with customers and get feedback / to find ways to improve our new line of habitats and enclosures.

SNAKES?
If you are planning on buying this enclosure for a snake, we HIGHLY recommend adding sliding door ratchet locks to ensure that there are no "emergency exits" for the snake to get out of between the sliding doors.

love them!

really nice enclosures!! everything is very well thought out and packed well!!

the only comment i have on them is that me and my boyfriend put 5 together in a night and accidently put the lid on with the door grooves in the back on 2 out of 5. i think we only missed it bc we were putting them all together one after another. there is a difference in front and back of the top though lol!! the front has slots for the doors! its a great design in that once the lid is on its realllly on. we had to get a thin flathead screwdriver and the hammer to pry it off and turn it around.

for anyone looking for their favorite reptile enclosure, these will deffinately be the one!! just pay attention when putting the lid on bc removing it is a whole process lol.

our hognose and boas love them!!

it was also really easy to add a second level and divider!! overall fantastic product and we would both buy more!

Great product for the price (Paid $299)

I read all of the reviews before I purchased this enclosure. I purchased Version 3. It was on sale for $299.

Many older reviews state that pieces came with slight damage (Remember that these issues are usually due to employees working for shipping and handling). It looks like Symton took these reviews to heart and did some serious packaging. My pieces were in a foam box surrounded by a cardboard box with plastic corners added to the cardboard box to help protect things. A couple of my plastic feet were missing but the box damage was minimal and all the parts for the enclosure were in perfect shape. I do not know how previous versions were shipped but this method seems to have protected my enclosure.

I think as an enclosure with that price tag- it is really great.

What I hated most in building it was removing the film but the film is so important to protecting the pieces that I am glad it was there. I personally just hate removing it. Really all the rest of it was easy. I had to plan out each step in my head before I did it to make sure I didn't have to go backwards ever (which I didn't). I do see why the instructions might confuse and bother some people (another complaint in reviews) as there are no magnifying glass close ups to make sure you're using the right pieces. But if you sit down and think it through before you start - then it is really easy.

I don't quite trust the doors. They bend very easily and I am concerned some snakes could escape. My bearded dragon should do fine. I may look into getting a lock to help hold the doors closed and see if it also helps them from bending open where they overlap. Because with very little effort I can push my fingers through.

My biggest concern for the enclosure is if the base will hold up to anything heavy. There is a slight void space between the bottom pvc panel and the surface it is sitting on due to the frame. I might find something the same thickness of the frame and cut it to fit the void space. Because I'd like to be able to build a second level in there for the dragon to get closer to the light and heat. In my situation the void space for a heat mat is not going to be necessary.

I will say the top to this enclosure is great. it feels firm and strong. The walls would not survive a serious of really strong kicks.... but most people aren't going to be kicking around the enclosure. it did survive me picking it up and moving it from build location to display location without me fearing it would fall apart. I would like to come back and update my review or add another review after the enclosure has had some use to touch base on how well it has held up.

This is the first reptile enclosure I have ever built (I always just get second hand pre-built ones). It has increased my confidence in being able to build more in the future as I'd like to upgrade all my reptiles to larger enclosures.

And bonus, you get a free rubber mallet. the number of times I've needed one and I don't have one has been more than I can count. Now I have one.

Great tank! But it would be better if it had a lock...

So to start off the tank if pretty easy to put together although after I did there was a few immediate problems, and the biggest is that the sliding doors do not have locks, this is a very crucial detail that should be implemented in every tank, this is because species such as Ball pythons and other snakes, are able to push the doors open, and without a lock they can escape. One thing I did like a lot is the support frames on top, since there amazing for draping plants off of. Thank you so much!

Very happy

We just got our new viv in just over a week ago, putting it together was pretty easy I did it all myself and just needed my bf to help with the last few bangs of the mallet and to screw the holders for the bars at the top. Echo has been in it a week now and she’s getting used to a larger home! So much room for decorations , we’re getting there! Thank you for making a lightweight easy to assemble home for my beardie baby!!
