Sieve is not suitable for medium sized BSFL

Maybe I was not using it correctly or there is a trick of some sort but I found the openings to be too large for the medium sized BSFL and a significant number of larva fell through while sifting. Another bunch wiggled through the holes on their own, and may I add, they managed to do so rather quickly! In the end just a few ended up in the sieve.

It do be sifting & scooping

As expected, it does a good job at sifting & scooping phoenix worms of all sizes. It will also be good for sifting & scooping mealworms.

This is much easier and no more cricket problems

Switched over from crickets with no feeding problems. No more worry of dying cricket smell. I felt like crickets were a second pet with the need to feed, water, and clean. None of that work with BSFL. No need to feed or water but hey also consume left over salad like a mini compost bin. Highly recommend the scoop and sifter to make life a lot easier. I sift into a box then pour the feed back into container. Larva remain clean in the sifter for meal time.

This makes feeding my dragon so easy.

My blue hornworms died a couple days after I received them, they constantly stayed in the fridge so that I could keep them longer. But other than that, my Leopard geckos and bearded dragon enjoyed everything we received! <3

Sift and Scoop game changer

The sift and scoop is an absolute blessing. The scooper allows me to grab plenty of BSFL with the substrate all at once. The substrate in Sympton BSFL is assume as well. The drop the amount chosen with the scooper and the sifter sifts the substrate in seconds. I do recommend sifting over a small bowl or bin though. The larvae do try to climb through sometimes. Some make it and some I have to use tongs to catch. From now on Sympton has my BSFL business!!
